We had an unforgettable stay at Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort, perfect for relaxation and diving. The accommodations were solid, albeit not as luxurious as bigger resorts, and the dive experiences were simply incredible. Be warned though, the road to get there is quite bumpy and the options for dining outside the resort are limited, so be sure to stock up on groceries beforehand.

Our family had a wonderful time at this remote resort. The bungalow was comfortable with air conditioning, which was crucial during the hot summer days. The snorkeling trip was a highlight, offering spectacular views of marine life. However, the location is quite remote and getting there requires caution with the dirt roads, especially if you're coming from the south.

Cabo Pulmo is an incredible spot for nature lovers, especially for diving enthusiasts. The accommodations are clean and basic, with lovely beach access. I found the food at the on-site restaurant to be hit or miss, but after exploring local options on my second trip, I discovered much better dining experiences. The dive experiences were quite variable, and while my first visibility was astounding, the recent trip had its ups and downs. Overall, it’s a peaceful retreat with some drawbacks in dining and dive service that could be noted.

Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort is a charming getaway that feels wonderfully off the beaten path with beautiful, clean accommodations and a relaxing vibe. The diving and snorkeling opportunities are exceptional, showcasing vibrant marine life. Although the service is somewhat limited due to the remote location, the peaceful atmosphere makes up for it. Just keep in mind that the lack of traditional amenities, such as A/C and maid service, might not suit everyone.

Rooms

The cottage-like units were clean and comfortable, boasting a full kitchen and a lovely porch with a hammock for relaxation.
Service

Though the service was friendly, it lacked usual hotel features like daily maid service, which might not be ideal for those expecting more attention.
Location

This resort is a tranquil escape, perfect for diving enthusiasts and those looking to unwind in a beautiful, albeit somewhat remote setting. The casitas are generally clean and well-stocked, with a few offering lovely views, but the access road is quite rough and mobile service can be inconsistent. The dining options on-site are decent, but it's wise to stock up on groceries beforehand due to limited nearby stores.

Rooms

We stayed in Village Casita #9, which was clean, bright, and well-stocked, though the view from the deck wasn’t outstanding compared to some other units.
Service

The dive staff was knowledgeable, and the restaurant provided good food. However, we faced several power outages during our stay.
Location

The resort's location is serene but remote, with a challenging access road that I wouldn't recommend taking after heavy rain.
